The College Careers Service is available to all our students. We can help you when deciding which course or option you wish to take. During your course we ensure you develop employability skills and gain relevant experience. We provide support when completing your course and progressing to work or going into higher education.

What can you expect from us?

• 1.Advice and guidance from qualified and experienced staff
• 2.To be treated with respect and courtesy.
• 3.Information to be passed on with your consent only, subject to legal requirements.
• 4.Referrals to other organisations as appropriate, and with your consent.
• 5.Up-to-date information.
• 6.Help on a range of careers, training/ work and higher education options.
• 7.One to one appointments available as well as workshops, drop in's or a phone call discussion.
• 8.Access to a range of resources including information on occupations, job profiles and higher education prospectuses. If you are ready to apply to University we can provide support with the UCAS application including:

• 10.Researching appropriate courses
• 11.Writing a strong personal statement
